AmVets Post 1 Vets, Auxiliary and Sons of AmVets has hosted many fund raising events over the years some include School supplies and Christmas parties and gifts giving for those in need in our community and scholarship donations and other programs.

Currently our AmVets fund raising efforts have been focused on paying our rent and utilities. Since we located to our new address, we have not been able to open to members or the public, due to various code approvals needed.

It has been a long battle and recently, I believe all code requirements have been approved and the work is in progress.

Fingers crossed we should be able to open our doors soon and earn income to be self sufficient! In the mean time we have been holding several Fish Fry's and yard sales monthly.
